DAI Optical Industries was founded in 1997, inspired by the teachings and insight of Corrado De Gennaro. Thanks to his twenty years of experience in the field and a deep passion for innovation, the company quickly grew from a small artisan workshop into a leading name in the design and production of high-tech lenses—lenses that offer sharp vision, high-definition images, and refined aesthetics.
With the support of the C.R.S.I. (Research, Development and Innovation Center), a widespread distribution network, branches throughout the country, and a fully automated production process, DAI Optical ensures fast, efficient service and a distinctive position in the market.
At the heart of the company is a close-knit team of professionals, each specialized in their field. It’s this team that grows with the company, driving its evolution every day.
Corrado De Gennaro’s children often recall one of his favorite sayings:

And it is with this same enthusiasm that they continue to carry forward his vision.
All lenses produced by D.A.I. Optical Industries™ are compliant with the applicable legislative provisions within the European Community, as prescribed by Directive 93/42/EEC, as well as the more specific provisions in Italy established by Legislative Decree No. 46 of 24/02/97, which implements the aforementioned directive. These lenses are classified as Class I medical devices and meet the requirements set forth by standards EN ISO 14889, EN ISO 8980, and EN ISO 12312.
D.A.I. Optical Industries™ ensures compliance with geometric tolerances, optical requirements, and the chemical-physical properties of the materials used in manufacturing: TOXICITY-FREE, FLAMMABILITY, MECHANICAL STRENGTH.
These lenses can be identified by the three engraved arches, which serve as a guarantee of their originality and authenticity. They are also registered and coded with the Ministry of Health.
