DAI Optical enhances the visual experience of presbyopes by placing their needs at the center of its research and innovation processes and by offering the I-Zoom progressive lens, the next-generation solution that eliminates adaptation issues and ensures clear and unrestricted vision at all distances.
I-Zoom is the first fully customized progressive lens, developed using the meticulous DNA Patch Calculation algorithm which integrates visual parameters with an innovative mathematical model, employing a patch-by-patch approach to guarantee perfect vision.
The lens guarantees total visual comfort, minimizes optical distortions, provides clear lateral vision, and ensures effective focus at every distance, giving the user a sense of freedom. The transition between distant, intermediate, and near vision is natural, with no more need to move the head to change viewing zones and focus.
DNA Patch Calculation technology eliminates distortions known as “swimming effects” (visible in lenses designed with traditional methods).

I-Zoom lenses can be also designed with the use of I-Check: I-Zoom Check
I-Check is the app that scans user eyes analyzing anatomy, habits and behaviors.
It is able to read, analyze and process visual and postural activities during typical near-vision tasks, such as reading. By doing so, it customizes lenses to the individual’s visual habits, enhancing the overall visual experience.
Additionally, it enables distance and near centration, customizes the lens based on facial parameters, frame choice, and habitual use, and records and analyzes the wearer’s visual habits during reading.
These variables are processed, encoded, and recorded to be utilized in the final calculation phase of the I-Zoom Check lens.
By defining near-vision behavior using the I-Check device, the user wearing I-Zoom Check progressive lenses can experience an expanded field of view—both in depth and width—at near distances, with an effective enhancement of visual volume (Max Volume Technology).

Thanks to the Balance Corridor technology, I-Zoom lenses are also available for aniseikonia. They are designed and recalculated with balanced power curves and inset, introducing a corrective effect that harmonizes the retinal images of both eyes. This calculation includes balancing the progression channels for prescriptions differing between the right and left eye, redistributing power along the two corridors.
Moreover, I-Zoom, availing of Pupyl Opening Technology, accommodates the process of mydriasis, ensuring natural and comfortable vision. Its unique molecular composition filters the amount of light entering the lens based on a pupil aperture value that varies according to the patient’s ametropia, assisting the eye during pupil dilation in low-light conditions and returning it to a “normal” size.
