In recent years, the D.A.I. OPTICAL C.R.S.I. Centre has conducted extensive research on the diagnosis and assessment of the visual component of drivers behind the wheel. It was possible to conduct experiments using simulated driving to focus on a number of key driving situations. DRIVE DAITACH was developed from these simulations: a specialist progressive lens design with a minimum mounting height of 19 mm produced with DAITACH digital technology.
DRIVE DAITACH was especially designed to improve visual performance while driving. The design has been optimized for long distances and in order to facilitate visual operations such as reversing or limiting the use of mirrors.
