TRANSPOLAR DRIVEWEAR® lenses provide protection through polarization and photochromic compounds that react to visible and ultraviolet light. The two technologies allow the lens to darken even inside the car; from the yellow-green tint, when not activated or in overcast conditions, to the brown-copper tint, with 78% light absorption inside the cabin, and up to dark brown when exposed to intense sunlight. They combine two technologies from the optical industry: TRANSITIONS™ photochromic and POLARA® polarization. The three “phases” of Transitions Drivewear maximize the natural abilities of the eye.
