Metaverse luxury experience
Metaclass is the new products line designed by DAI Optical, composed by the family of “Luxury Expereince” lenses called ARYA, made for those who seek exceptional quality and top-tier visual performances.
This project comes from studies regarding progressive lenses visual experiences and has also been extended to single vision, digital lenses and digressive lenses.
As users change their gaze direction, they coordinate eye movements, head inclination, rotation, and movement differently. As a result, there are an infinite number of combinations, each unique to the individual.
Considering this, DAI Optical developed Metaclass series. ARYA lenses are designed using Eye-Shuttle, a system that combines a virtual reality headset with an app customized by DAI Optical.
Thanks to its eye-tracking sensors, which measure and process the user’s eye-head movement combinations while the tue customer is immersed into the Metaverse, it is possible to optimize the progressive or single vision lens power distribution with no approximations.
Eye-Shuttle is the most innovative system on the customizable ophthalmic lenses market. It consists of a virtual reality headset paired with a dedicated app customized by the Research and Innovation Centre of DAI Optical. The core of this technology is represented by its Eye-tracking sensors which record customer’s ocular movements while they explore the Metaverse. Assigned algorithms analyze ocular movement patterns and create a map linked to a single person only. This map represents the most frequently used lens areas. In just a few seconds, this 3D measurement enables the optimization of progressive or single vision lens power distribution like never before, allowing for a product that is truly tailored to the user’s visual habits.
